A necessary story about dignity, family, and love—about what binds us, humanly and spiritually. A unique yet universal story about the fragility of life, the need to be together, about life that pulses and demands its right to exist. In the hardest moments, we relearn how to live, how to rejoice; we discover that we can laugh out loud, but also that we need to cry together. We are not alone, even when it seems that this might be the only and cruel truth.
The dreams of others inhabit us, yet we must discover our own. We ask ourselves how the world looks through another’s eyes, especially when they can no longer speak to us. We take on responsibilities—out of love. Sometimes those we long for are not close to us, yet from a distance they vibrate with us, cry alongside us, and bring back our smiles and our joy, in the ways they can.
Often, the angels we imagine have no wings—they offer a hand, know how to listen, and embrace us. Life begins again when we believe everything has ended. There is light even in darkness—something we must always remember. This is a story that gives hope, a sensitive and powerful story about the need for faith. And above all, about love.
