Take, Ianke and Cadîr

How can three different cultural identities coexist within the same space, especially when the younger generation seeks to challenge old traditions? When Take’s Romanian daughter falls in love with the son of the Jewish merchant Ianke, the harmony of the community is threatened. The friendship between the two men is put to the test, creating the perfect moment for the Turk Cadîr to mediate the conflict. The result is a bittersweet comedy with notes of social critique, confronting us with our own prejudices.
