PANIC
by Mika Myllyaho

TRANSLATION into German by Eeva Bergroth and Martina Marti
CAST: Daniel Plier, Daniel Bucher, Valentin Späth
Panic is a black comedy on the real or imaginary crisis of the modern, middle-aged man. Being a fine observer, author Mika Myllyaho realizes a chronicle of nowadays, based on what society expects from a man if he is capable of revealing his feelings and can be sensitive and competitive at the same time. The production of the Sibiu German Department focuses on the friendship relation between Max (Daniel Plier) Leo (Daniel Bucher) and Joni (Valentin Späth), wittily displaying their hidden neurotic which become obvious once Max tries to save his marriage. The performance creates a provocative and realist urban universe, precisely revealing the psychological analysis operated by the author on his characters.
